Brickanuk, a combination of Brick and Canuck, is Canada's first LEGO® rental company. The service is operated by Board Miniatures Hobby Store; an official LEGO® retailer and certified reseller. Our rental service lets you build more, spend less, and keep your home clutter‑free. Build at your own pace, and return them when you’re done. We handle all cleaning, sorting, and quality control checks so that every set arrives professionally inspected and ready to build.

It’s a very simple loop: Build → Return → Repeat.

Step 1 - Select any one (1) set available from our catalogue.

Step 2 - Select our convenient ship-to-you service or the FREE in-store pick up.

Step 3 - Build, play and enjoy the kit for as long as you'd like.

Step 4 - Return the set following our return instructions included in each kit.

Step 5 - Once our Bruck Crew inspects and clears your set through Quality Control, you're ready to rent your next set.

Build at your pace. Enjoy the process. We do not charge traditional late fees. Instead:

- The flat rental rate covers the first 30 days

- After 30 days, a two percent (2%) per day charge applies until the set is returned

Failure to Return:

If a set is not returned within one hundred and eighty (180) days, without any customer communications or expressed interest in extending the rental period, it may be considered lost or stolen and will be subject to full replacement value charges in addition to any rental charge obligations.

RETURNING YOUR SET IS SUPER SIMPLE AND ULTRA CONVENIENT:

Step 1 - Leave Assembled

- Place all pieces in the original bag.

- Only disassemble fragile elements.

- Don't worry about fully disassembling or sorting--we handle that for free

Step 2 - Pack it Up

- Put all contents back into the original box.

- Add any additional items from our Trade-In or Recycling programs.

Step 3 - Seal & Drop-Off

- Return your set at any of our approved physical drop-off locations; or,

- Use our Canada Post free return policy (included in every kit)

Every shipment includes:

• Free return instructions
• A simple packing guide

We strongly recommend you keep the original shipping box for the most easy return experience.

WHAT IF A SET ARRIVES WITH MISSING PIECES?

Every set is Quality Controlled at various points within our warehouse before shipping, but if something slips through, we’ll commit to fixing it fast. Please contact us ASAP at [email protected] so that we can:

• Ship replacement pieces;
• Swap the set; and/or,
• Credit your account (if unable to resolve)

Your build experience always comes first.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE A PIECE?

We're all humans and we understand your concerns about losing some of those precious pieces. Accidents happen and we want you to know we have your back! Even we lose pieces sometimes (like the time our own shop dog played with a one of one tire that fell on the floor one time...)

The first step we ask is that you please contact us ASAP at [email protected] so that we can:

• Track and investigate the incident;
• Ship replacement pieces; or
• Swap the set

To help reduce stress and enhance your rental experience, we do offer optional add-on Missing Piece Protection (MPP) on every set starting at less than a $1. which covers you for missing or damaged parts. (Some conditions apply). We also have a complimentary limited forgiveness allowance for first time occurrences and some case by case circumstances.

If something major and deemed particularly valuable is missing, we’ll work with you to find the best solution — but we never punish honest builders.

Yes, every set goes through a professional, multi‑stage cleaning workflow using only officially approved LEGO® safe mild detergents, controlled dilution ratios, mesh‑bag load limits, and cross‑contamination safeguards. Pieces are then dried, inspected, and verified before being re‑bagged.

Your set arrives fresh, clean, and ready to build.

However, they are not by definition truly "sanitized". There are no known officially sanctioned sanitization chemicals/agents that are considered safe for use on any LEGO® bricks without safe risk of compromising quality or causing premature wear and tear. Only mild-detergents are recommended.

But trust us, they're clean. Every time.

In a broader position and belief in supporting local and championing sustainability, we have partnered with Canada Post as our primary shipping carrier. This means we have shipping access to, well, Canada!

We also have secondary courier options in the event of any postal disruptions. Cuz you know, plan with A, prepare with B.

We offer sets across all age ranges, from beginner builds to advanced display pieces.

Parents love the clutter‑free rotation and the ability to try sets before buying.

Our rental services cater to all kids at heart (Even the Big big ones...).

No. but... While we do have a limit of one (1) rental set per customer, it is possible to have more than one customer living in the same household. In this instance, it would be possible.

We wish to express our commitment to community service and fair play. We do monitor for abuse and fraudulent behavior.

We share the same enthusiasm and we want to keep them all too! Most of our sets are not for sale once in our rental inventory, however, we do offer a variety of programs and products that in some cases it may be possible.

Some services we offer include:

- Return & Receive Program (RRP) rent the set, buy it minus rental fee, return the rental, receive a sealed version

- Rent-to-Own Program (R2OP) Select a R2OP set and rent it until paid off

- New Sealed Sets (NSS) (add-ons) - Brickanuk is a service by Board Miniatures Hobby Store which is an authorized LEGO® retailer and certified reseller. You could request a sealed set as an add-on to your rental. We'll include it in your rental.

- Trade-in Program (TIP) - Offer us your old and unused LEGO® sets in exchange for store credits* (Subject to prior approval)

- End-of-Life sets (EOL sets) it was fun while it lasted, but sometimes we have to retire kits from our inventory. These sets will become available for discounted rates and are sold "as-is"
